How does a beautiful, colorful, and WARM October wedding day get any better? When it's the wedding of these two amazing college sweethearts!
Amy + Jason are wonderful, simply put. Their beautiful, light, and compassionate personalities shine through in everything they do and their wedding was such a true expression of the love these two share. We fell in love with them instantly and as we got to know a little more about their story we fell that much more in love.
Everything about this wedding was nothing short of perfect. From Amy and Jason's complete and total admiration for one another, to some ridiculously gorgeous sunset + playing in the leaves moments that took our breath away, everything about these two and their special day made this wedding one we'll be talking about for years to come.
We are very much missing this gorgeous day, and these gorgeous people! Could not have been more blessed to share our final wedding of the season with Amy + Jason. Show them some love!
For many of us, the Lamain family have been dear friends for the last several years and when Clint Mathews popped the question to Cassi we were over the moon for them! So naturally when Cassi in turn asked us to photograph and film their wedding day we couldn't help but excitedly reply, "YES!"
Their wedding, the first official fall wedding of our 2014 season, was so peaceful, calm and despite the cold changing weather outside, a true sense of commitment, love, and contentedness just rested over the entire day. Watching them exchange vows and pledge themselves to one another was absolutely amazing, and the grin Clint had when he saw Cassi for the first time that day, walking down the aisle towards him, was beyond adorable.
Everything from Cassi's flowing and breathtaking white dress, to Clint's cute-as-could-be ringbearer, and these two wonderful families that came together on this wedding day, made this such a blessing and precious wedding to share in.
Cassi + Clint are beautiful together and they truly are one of the sweetest couples you will ever meet. They don't just balance the other, they respect and strengthen one another. Five minutes around them and you instantly know God created each of them individually in mind for the other. We have a lot of love for them. Cheers to Mr.+Mrs Mathews!
We love our city. From the culture, to the sights and art, to even the atmosphere of Grand Rapids - it’s just a few of the reasons why this place is so wonderful. So we love when our couples choose to make this city a staple point of their wedding, just like Brooke and Jake!
Brooke first connected with us last fall to discuss the details of her wedding and after a phone conversation or two we knew this would be a wedding that we would melt over, love every minute of, and have no trouble capturing the immense beauty that would be this day. From their traditional Catholic Mass held at the awe inspiring St. Alphonsus Parish to their downtown reception held at the McKay ballroom, this wedding was beyond gorgeous and oh so elegant!
Brooke and Jake made our jobs easy that day, and we’ll be holding onto memories of this warm, fantastic wedding for a very long time! We have nothing but love and the fondest wishes for these two. From our entire team, congratulations Brooke + Jake!
We are so excited to finally announce that we have been chosen as one of The Knot's Best of Weddings videographers for 2015! All we can say is a huge thank you to our amazing and wonderful couples that we have shared some breathtaking moments with over the last few years- if it were not for your faith and love for our work, your amazing and beautiful weddings, and your kind words, we wouldn't be here today celebrating.
It has been an amazing three years of filming some of the most beautiful moments in all of our couple's lives and we have loved watching their journeys continue onward after their big days. Through helping tell the stories of these gorgeous couples we have made friendships we will always hold on to, and for that we are so thankful.
Needless to say we are excited to be starting our fourth year of wedding cinematography on such a happy and positive note. We are excited to see where this new year takes us, as well as to tell the stories of all our new couples and friends! And from the bottom of our heart, thank you once again to all of our amazing couples that helped us make it into The Knot's Best of Weddings 2015 a reality - because of your amazingly kind words for our team, our art, and our stories we are able to celebrate this honor today!
2014 has been an amazing year for our team. We married off one of our own, found a new home, welcomed new members to our family, went on some amazing adventures, and made so many new friends! We've been extremely blessed to get the chance to tell the stories that we have, and are truly looking forward to what 2015 has in store for us as we grow, and continue in the great adventure of telling the story.

When are long time college friend, Ben, asked us to photograph his proposal to the love of his life, Allison, we couldn't help but say 'YES!' - and boy did he pick a breathtaking spot to propose! - While it was a bit nippy that evening, the Attema and Boes family helped create the most romantic and perfect candlelit setting right along the boardwalk by Lake Macatawa for these two. Couldn't be happier or more thrilled for them!
