Sydney + Jared: Gun Lake Wedding Trailer

High school sweethearts turned husband and wife, summer days spent by the lake, and families coming together to (safely) celebrate a new chapter in their shared stories. These are just a few of the things that will get our hearts a-fluttering and they are everything that was Sydney + Jared's wedding! 

Looking back on this year as a whole, despite a lot of ups and downs, there have been so many moments that have spoken truth and life into us. Spending the day with these two, their family and closest friends, and the amazing tribe of vendors that rolled with the Covid punches was one of them. Sydney and Jared are two incredibly intentional and sweet humans that we have loved getting to know over the last few months and being trusted to tell this part of their story has been an honor.

We are so excited for everything that is ahead of these two and will be continuing to cheer them on, through masks and all, for the many years to come!

If you are looking to have your spirits lifted, to make you reach for that box of tissues, or simply to remember that love and joy still exist, then you’ve come to the right place.

We could write you a book about how beautiful, heartfelt, and touching this day was. The truth though is that this is Kenzie + Heather’s story and they tell it best. Their vows fill us with so much light and hope every time we hear them and are the perfect reflection of how deeply these two complete each other.

Love is far too simple a word to describe the depth of how much they care for one another. It honestly is rare to find such devotion and commitment in this world these days, but if anything can give us hope for a better tomorrow right now, it is without question K+H.

There is indeed a season for everything, and while this year has felt like a long season of uncertainty, there have been moments that have reminded us that there is still celebration, hope, and light to be found in this world. Mackenzie + Curtis’s wedding was just such a reminder.

When we think about all the excitement, all the laughter, and tenderness that characterized this entire day, our hearts just about burst. From Curtis losing his mind after he saw Mackenzie for the first time, to their adorable and heartfelt handwritten letters they read to one another during first looks. From Mackenzie and her flower girl twirling away in the summer sun to Mr. and Mrs. VanderWolde’s song they sang during the ceremony—the same song, they sang together at their wedding. Everything about Mackenzie and Curtis’ day was a thoughtful, beautiful reflection of who they are and the love that they model to all of us.

In every season there is reason to be thankful, to take a moment and recognize the life and love all around us. We are thankful for these two and loved getting to celebrate them with all their family and friends. Here’s to the beautiful Mr. and Mrs. Dunkerely, and the brand new chapter that they’re starting in their story together!

We love getting caught up in the celebration and excitement of a wedding. From all the laughter and joy to the tender and quiet moments, there is rarely a moment that we aren’t completely enraptured by. Aastha + Shalin’s weekend was exactly that for us.

In some ways, it went by so fast that it feels like a whirlwind of cheering, dancing, and all of the gorgeous colors you could imagine. Yet at the heart of it all, the thing that stands out in memory is just how much fun it was celebrating these two and the beginning of the brand new chapter in their story together. After seven long years, these two said yes to forever together and threw one heck of a party to commemorate it.

We’ve said it before and we’ll say it again, the ideals of love, commitment, and adventure are the things that grow us, transform us, and bring us together. Aastha + Shalin model that so beautifully and for that, we will always be beyond thankful for them. Here’s to two humans who will always have our hearts!
