We can all agree this is a SUPER weird time in all of our lives. It’s a mix of worry, precaution, and hopeful optimism that we’ll all get through this and be closer than ever before on the other side. But topping the list of weirdness from this season is having to stay inside as it gets nicer and warmer out! We’re over here wishing the outsider resembled more of a winter wonderland so that it would be easier to admire and appreciate from indoors.

And speaking of winter wonderlands — let’s talk about Sarah + Dave for a “hot” minute! Whenever we are able to celebrate two friends on the most important day in their lives we have a blast from beginning to end. But these two knocked it out of the park, and honestly, we shouldn't be surprised. If you know these two you know that they are incredibly sweet, compassionate humans, but they also will have you rolling on the floor laughing in no time!

It also doesn’t hurt that Sarah is one of the GREATEST wedding planners in the known universe and heaven help us, does she know how to throw one elegant and breathtaking winter wedding! Every moment of this day brings such a giant smile to our faces and a warm glow to our hearts. There was no better way to ring in the new year than celebrating these two, and if ever there were a couple that could help show us that we’ll all get through this together and come out stronger on the other side, it would be these two.

Berenice + Francisco: Benton Harbor Wedding Trailer

You know those perfect weddings where everything just falls right into place? The venues are amazing, the sun is shining, the weather (surprisingly for Michigan) is on point, and the people you are spending the day with are full of nothing but excitement and laughter. It sounds too good to be true, but Berenice + Francisco’s day was exactly this — every moment.

There was nothing about this wedding that wasn’t jaw-droppingly gorgeous. Though the thing that floored us the most was watching these two best friends-turned-pup-parents become husband and wife. Berenice’s drive and passion are matched perfectly by Francisco’s caring and witty heart. Spend just a minute with these two and it’s clear to see how deeply and thoroughly they love one another. But that love overflows out onto everyone around them; their friends and most of all their family. Together they make one serious power couple that will rock this world.

Celebrating a love like these two is not just fun, it’s what we live for. Forever dreaming about #SummerofAlvarez!

It takes courage and no small amount of faith to move across the country to chase your dreams — to leave home and the known behind for the exciting and hopeful horizon ahead. Little did Allie know when she left for LA, she would find more than just a wonderful new chapter in her teaching career, she would meet the man she would say yes to a lifetime of adventures and growth with.

If you’ve heard us talk about these two at all, you know that they are one of our favorites for a lot of reasons but their story is hands down one of those that makes you stop and realize that there really is something much greater at work in this world than just ourselves. These two grew up just minutes away from each other, went to the same music festivals as kids, most likely crossed paths a handful of times, but it took moving to one of the largest cities in the world to finally meet. 

Aside from having one beautiful story of “lost and found” these two beautifully reflect the true face of Christ in all that they say and do. Watching them get to celebrate their devotion and commitment to one another this summer, with all of their family and friends gathered together was a blessing to our entire team!   

We’ll be huge fans of these two and their story forever,  and we are just so thankful to have shared the beginning of this new chapter with them. Sending all our love and good vibes now and always to the coolest and kindest couple the West Coast has ever known!

A moody overcast wedding day never looked so good as it did on Taryn + Zak’s day. Yes, we got caught in the middle of a field during an intense downpour, but name us two people who you’d rather go running through the rain with - we’ll wait.

In all seriousness though we went into this day knowing we’d most likely get pretty emotionally wrecked, and starting with Taryn’s video message to her soon-to-be husband got the tears flowing early. Every moment and detail perfectly reflected a piece of these two and their story together. The intentionality, the focus, and the celebration that characterized this day from beginning to end was 100% Taryn and Zak and we could not have asked for a more amazing day for these two. Don’t mind us, we’ll just be crying and swooning over these two for the rest of the year!

Graycen + Tom: Grand Rapids Wedding Trailer

Nothing gets us right in the feels like a good, classic high school sweethearts-turned-husband-and-wife story - and that our friends, is the story of Graycen + Tom. These two grew up just down the street from one another, went to school together, and Tom even says he knew Graycen was the one when they were only in second grade. Crying already!

These two have seen each other through a lot. Long-distance, career and education changes, national basketball championships - they’ve always been there for one another. A testament of what true and honest commitment and love are. Getting to be a part of their day was an honor that we cannot express how thankful we are for it. Celebrating these two—their long journey to their wedding day and the many adventures yet ahead—simply getting to pay witness to a great love story, hands down, was one of our top moments this summer.

We love these two so much, and we cannot imagine a more perfect wedding for two more deserving people in the world. Here’s to the Hamiltons!
