From looking back and seeing how much confidence Fernanda sees herself having grown in over her four years at CU, Paetyn’s preparedness and excitement for the next stage in her own educational journey, to Grant’s touching desire to make his late Grandfather, who always encouraged him to pursue a college degree, proud these three students perfectly represent the heart, character, and spirit of the Traditional Undergraduate program at CU.

Meet Clarence, Alexiana, and Chad – three graduating students from the Cornerstone University Class of 2018. Seminar is a season of stretching, wrestling, and revelation. Each of these students' journeys through their own respective programs at Grand Rapids Theological Seminar is a testament to this season of growth and empowerment. From Clarence's deepening and understanding of who God truly is in relation to his people; from Alexiana's transition from theological understanding in the classroom to actual doxology to Chad's understanding of how to better serve his clients and be the face of Christ to them, these three are true examples of the life-changing power Seminar can have on one's worldview and relation to God.

Meet Kristen, Lydia, and Saul – three graduating students from the Cornerstone University Classes of 2018. If there was one common thread that we found weaving throughout each of these students’ stories it would be the idea of vision. Each one of them set out on a journey when starting the PGS program to better their lives because they saw an idea they wanted to strive for. For Kristen, she wanted to blend her worlds of faith and career in a way that would allow her to engage with her work and colleagues on a deeper level. Lydia saw a vision for herself to be a light in the foster care world by building upon her own past to be a place of security for hurting kids. Saul himself enrolled in the program to not only show his own grandchildren the importance of working to achieve your goals no matter who you are but to also accomplish the dream his own grandparents had for him. Together these three brought the dream they each had for their lives to fruition and are just a part of the many inspiring stories that make up this year’s Professional and Graduate Studies program graduates.
